Boys here is something easy and exceptional to make to complete the fantastic dish you have just served that very special woman in your life.  Clinch, conclude and consummate are  few adjectives that come to mind.

Cream horns as they are known are quick and easy to prepare, and if you think they look good, well they taste even better. They can be made plain, with chocolate sauce or dipped in chocolate. As far as I’m concerned the more chocolate the better. The debate still rages on today, 600 years after Columbus first introduced cocoa beans to Europe as to their stimulant effect. The Aztec king Montezuma was reputed to have used it as a form of Viagra. In fact “Cacahuatl” or “Gift of the gods” as it was known, a special drink made from cocoa was the only thing he ever drank…. His whole life…What no beer?

INGREDIENTS

Puff pastry
Chocolate slab x2
500ml fresh Cream / Can of whipped cream
Half a cup of milk
1 Egg

PREPARATION

Preheat your oven to 220°C. Roll out your puff pastry on a surface that has been sprinkled with flour and brush with combined egg and water. Using a sharp knife cut long strips of pastry, about 3cm wide and wind them overlapping onto either a cone or cannoli form and place them in the oven until they are golden brown. Whilst the pastry is baking melt the chocolate with a little milk, stirring continuously. Whip the cream until stiff, if you don’t have a can of ready whip. Take out the pastry and let them cool down in the freezer for a bit. Remove the forms and pipe the whipped cream into the pastry horns and serve with the chocolate sauce poured over them. This is the quick and easy way to do this there are loads of variations you can try. Give it a bash, they taste like more.
